The conference venue is located in the part of the city called “Lobeda”. If you stay at a hotel in the city (most likely), please make sure to plan enough time (15-30 min) for your arrival in the hospital in Lobeda depending on your mode of transport!
Please note: The Universitätsklinikum Jena (Jena Univeristy Hospital) is spread across two separate sites. The main hospital is located in Lobeda (where the conference is held) while the other site is the Klinik für Kinder- und Jugendpsychiatrie Jena (the Child and Psychiatry clinic) located in the city centre where most hotels will be.
Travel by Tram (20 min + 5 min walk)
Take tram nr. 5 from city centre “Ernst-Abbe-Platz” to “Universitätsklinikum”. Then a 5 min walk to the venue (see map).
Travel by Taxi (~15 min from city centre)
If you go by Taxi, tell the driver to go to Uniklinikum Jena in Lobeda, main entrance. A typical ride from city centre will cost about €35 (price may varies).
Travel by car
Those commute by car can park at the CONTIPARK Parkhaus Universitatsklinkum. Then a 2 min walk to the venue. Click link for more information on parking rate.
Other useful information
- If you need help to get around, just ask a local, everybody is nice! You can also download the “dB Navigator-App”. It will show you, which trams/routes you can use.
- There is no plan for shuttle bus service at this stage. Should this be available, we will update accordingly.
